On the morning of July 11th, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the “Ship LED Smart Health Lighting Joint R&D Center” jointly established by Liangming Maritime (Jiangxi) Lighting Co., Ltd. and Nanchang Research Institute of Sun Yat sen University was successfully held. Representatives from both sides attended the event, including Tu Xueqing, General Manager of Liangming Maritime, Tu Honghao, Sales Director, Yang Shanqing, Dean and Party Branch Secretary of Nanchang Research Institute of Sun Yat sen University, and Guan Shengguo, Executive Vice Dean and Deputy Director of Precision Measurement R&D Center.

At the beginning of the event, Vice President Guan Shengguo warmly welcomed the visit of Liangming Maritime and introduced the background of cooperation and the construction goals of the joint research and development center. He mentioned that this cooperation is an important action for the research institute to practice the integration of industry, academia, research and application. It will combine the advantages of the research institute’s scientific research, talent, platform and the technical accumulation and market experience of Liangming Maritime in the field of LED lighting, and help promote the innovative application of LED smart and healthy lighting technology for ships. Subsequently, under the joint witness of both parties, General Manager Tu Xueqing and Dean Yang Shanqing signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties, unveiling the plaque for the “Joint R&D Center for Ship LED Smart Health Lighting”.

In his concluding speech, Dean Yang Shanqing pointed out that the establishment of the Joint R&D Center is the result of complementary advantages, resource sharing, and collaborative innovation between both parties. The research institute will fully support the construction and development of the center, and looks forward to using this cooperation as an opportunity to explore new models of integration of industry, academia, research and application, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and empower the high-quality development of industries such as shipbuilding and ocean engineering.

This signing and unveiling ceremony marks a new chapter in the cooperation between Liangming Maritime and Sun Yat sen University Nanchang Research Institute. In the future, both parties will use the joint research and development center as a carrier to focus on the key core technology research and development of ship LED smart health lighting, promote more scientific research achievements from the laboratory to the market, and help the development of the industry.
